01. THE MODERN TRENCH COAT

The classic trench has been part of COS’ collection since day one – and they’ve been perfecting it over the past 15 years. 
 
For spring summer 2022, this modern reinterpretation comes in a new, oversized silhouette for an effortless sensibility. Crafted from cotton with a hint of stretch, the breathable fabric lends the coat its layering prowess – it’s lightweight enough for a sunny afternoon but tough enough to withstand an unexpected between-season rain shower. 
 
This double-breasted style features pleats running through the bottom, which creates an elegant flare – and satisfying swish – with every step. Added to the exaggerated shape are the puffed sleeves, complete with adjustable belted cuffs and other thoughtful details, from the multiple tonal stitching on the belt and the undercollar to the fabric covered buckle and discreet side pockets. 

02. THE DECONSTRUCTED SUIT

Classic tailoring, reinterpreted. 
 
Let loose. This season at COS, the classic suit has been given a softer, deconstructed treatment, offering a winning combination of smart comfort and effortless ease. 
 
Crafted from traceable RWS certified wool, it comprises an oversized blazer with an open side that can be unbuttoned to create a draped back for a softer, unstructured look. The matching tailored trousers are cut for a relaxed fit too, with a wide, full leg and original design details including a curved pocket shape and adjustable buckles at the waist for added comfort. 
 
The overall effect? A suit that’s effortlessly sophisticated and reassuringly smart. 
 

03. THE OVERSIZED SHIRT 

A wardrobe staple, supersized. 
 
As we switch seasons, it’s time to welcome back the poplin shirt into your everyday wardrobe. The design team at COS has taken a modern approach to this tailoring classic by updating the shape with a focus on elongated proportions. From the curved hem and wide sleeves to the oversized collar and cuffs, this piece proves small details have the power to create a big impact. 
 
Crafted from pure cotton, it comes in a classic pinstripe design inspired by traditional shirting. Its loose, fluid shape provides comfort while the pointed collar and tailored shape add a smart touch. The styling options are endless – tuck yours into jeans or wear it as part of a layered look over a basic tee. 

04. THE EFFORTLESS SHIRT DRESS  

Airy volume, effortless ease. 
 
Crafted from cotton in a poplin finish, this spring shirt dress is lightweight, breathable and cut for an oversized silhouette – perfect for sunshine season. It’s so effortless, you’d be forgiven for missing all the details that make this piece a true COS icon. Look closely and you’ll notice discreet pleating at the neck, the softly gathered sleeves and cuffs for a subtle puffed shape, and the belt loop on the back which doubles up as a hanger loop for an easy way to store in your wardrobe. 

05. THE ELEVATED T-SHIRT

The T-shirt has always been a COS favourite – reinvented season after season to keep it feeling fresh. For spring, the design team have played with proportions: now it’s slightly cropped in length and features a ribbed mock neck, oversized wide elbow-length sleeves and softly dropped shoulders. 
 
Crafted from pure organic cotton, which is grown from non-genetically modified seeds without chemical fertilisers or pesticides, it's soft to the touch and comfortable for daily wear. With an array of colours to choose from – from timeless neutrals to bright, bold hues – this piece is set to become a wardrobe staple.
