Additionally, consider cotton blends with touches of stretch that help retain the shape of your T-shirt after frequent wear.
HOW TO CARE FOR COTTON T-SHIRTS
Pieces crafted from both 100% cotton and cotton blends can be easily maintained by washing by hand or on a machine cycle at 30°C or lower. Remember to pre-treat stains before washing by dabbing a small amount of stain remover on the area. For darker pieces, patch test on an inside seam to check the colour won’t be affected. You can hang cotton pieces out to dry to help prevent shrinking from a tumble dryer and save energy.
Maintain the softness of your cotton T-shirt by checking the label to see if there are any specific ironing instructions. Use the cotton setting on your iron (a medium to high heat) and prevent scorching by lightly dampening the T-shirt and using steam. You should always iron any T-shirts with prints, logos or vivid colours inside out and ensure to hang your cotton pieces after to prevent creasing.
