CASHMERE CARE GUIDE
Only wash cashmere a few times per season. Handwash or use a special detergent on a gentle machine cycle according to care instructions to prevent pilling.
Squeeze excess water without twisting and lie flat on a towel to dry. Reshape while damp. Between wears, air dry to save energy.
Store knitwear folded in drawers with mothballs – hanging can alter the shape. Use a pilling comb or fabric shaver to retain the fabric’s softness.
Help reverse signs of shrinking from older cashmere garments by soaking them in cold or lukewarm water and pulling symmetrically while they dry naturally on a flat surface.
