The original exterior has been stripped back to reveal a clean design. A simple pitched roof remains intact, alluding to an archetypal ‘house’ shape.

Framed in striking black metal, rectangular windows with deep sills punctuate the minimalist exterior. Grey basalt clads the clean-lined façade – a magmatic rock quarried in Hainan, China.  

Inside, there is a focus on the understated. Gentle curves and sharp lines are mirrored in ceilings, around corners and on the staircase. Natural materials, sleek fixtures and airy, pure white spaces complete the tranquil interior.
